PORTLAND PIONEER QUILTERS AND FIBRE GROUP

The Portland Fibre and Quilters Group members have now purchased everything on their wishlist! Their first stick vacuum cleaner , as well as a powerful new handy vac, are making tidy-up ultra efficient, leaving more time for productive crafting. A slim-line light box, wall- mounted whiteboard and a fabulous new ironing board with iron rest are also among the purchases, improving OH&S in the studio. Purchases and improvements were made possible by a $500 Glenelg Shire Council Community Grant and an additional $500 from the Julia Street Creative Space.

The group currently meets in the Pavilion at Julia Street Creative Space and welcomes new members.
