| The Portland Artists'
Society planned an ambitious program of exhibitions for 2010 and "Creation
of Colour" was the first installment. Hung the week before the Easter break,
this exhibition allowed the maximum opportunity for locals and visitors to
view the Artistic output of Portland CEMA's art group first hand. As part of PAS' more active program this year, the pictures were judged by local artist Annette Taylor, who awarded high commendations to Alexandra Davis - "Old Shed", Anna Deacon - "Early Evening Milking at Heywood" and Warren Mars - "The Roulettes". The results for each Artist will be passed on, to be added to by other judges in succeeding exhibitions with the highest aggregate at the end of the year awarded a prize. |
